The miracle of nature – PLITVICE LAKES

Happy Sunday everybody.

How was your weekend so far? Did you get a chance to visit the nature. I was lucky to get the opportunity to visit the nature’s miracle called Plitvice Lakes.

Plitvice Lakes National Park is a forest reserve in central Croatia and one of the most popular tourist attraction, that has granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1979. It’s known for a chain of 16 terraced lakes, joined by waterfalls, that extend into a canyon.

This park is heaven on earth. It’s one of the most beautiful natural places I have seen. Is massive, much more so than the write ups and guide books make out. It needs a minimum of 4 hours (and I would recommend a whole day) to appreciate it.waterfall_croatia_plitviceplitvice_croatia_2017waterfalls_plitivice_croatia_2017

It is gorgeous place, serene, very clean, outstanding views…Highly recommended.. But it can get very crowded as well.

It is picture perfect and I’ll upload many so you can get the most of it.
