Picture perfect city – Valletta

Happy Saturday beautiful people,

Nothing beats a summer in October, but when traveling far from home, it’s always nice to bring along your camera. Today I wanted to write a post about a city that really got my attention. It’s architecture is something I never came across before and as the title says it is the most picture perfect place which is totally well worth a visit. Valletta was just how I imagined it… With the unique architecture, beautiful houses and buildings with colorful windows and doors.

If you are on a budget and looking for some affordable destinations, Malta or Valletta is the place to go. Malta is a small rocky island just south of Italy, and if you are ready for sea vacation, a place with rich history, great nature, and beautiful water around this is the place I recommend for sure. Also the weather here is pretty much summer though the whole year and if you are chasing the sun you’re good to go 🙂

First thing you wanna do is you want to go to the capital of Valletta and there you can wander around and see all the stone buildings. It is from about 1500s so it’s got the nice grid map, very easy to figure it out. It is well worth walking around doing you sightseeing.  There are plenty of great churches to check out.

When visiting Valletta, Upper and Lower Barrakka Gardens are a must. The Upper Barrakka Gardens are a public garden in Valletta, Malta. They are twinned with the Lower Barrakka Gardens in the same city, and offers a panoramic view of the Grand Harbour. Make sure to check them out.

The food here is super delicious and pretty cheap. So this city is well worth checking out where you can do all kind of fun stuff. Also the famous red telephone boxes can be spotted in certain old streets in Malta.

    1. There are so many restaurants and wherever you chose you won’t make a mistake. If you are fan of Italian food that’s the place to be. Also there are many vegan and vegetarian friendly restaurants. I’m sure you gonna have a blast.
